Michael Mccourry Visits Accurate Innovations
We were honored last week to host Mike and his family for a brief visit to our facility. While here, he picked up a few of his finished big-bore, shoulder bustin’ beauties ready to ship off to Africa to tip over some very large, dangerous game. We’ve enjoyed working with Mike and shooting some of his demo models such as the .458 B&M and the .500 MDM Ultra. That’s what my good friend Johnny said about this beautiful blonde laminate stock on my Dad’s old 700. Apparently, this varmint pig I shot last weekend didn’t think too much of it either. Nonetheless, I still think the stock is DDG-AA!

Hunting Buddies – Part 2
Today was Amanda’s turn to accompany me to the “honey hole.” Herman, my little hunting buddy couldn’t hunt this weekend because he is too busy trying to start a chicken pox epidemic at our house. Thankfully, Amanda has no inhibitions about shooting Bambi. (That was a perfectly good ‘hunk of meat’ walking around out there.) The stock is a blonde laminate for my Dad’s old 700.
Hunting Buddies
Sharing the hunting experience enhances the value of our time afield. God took my dad home to be with Him in 2002 and although it was a tremendous loss for me, He gave me a new hunting buddy just a few months later. Samuel and I have hunted together in a Tree Lounge since he was 2 years old. He really likes my Dad’s old Remington 700 with a Nutmeg laminate stock by Accurate Innovations. You Did What???
Okay, we’ve all been there one time or another. Those of us in the stock shop cringed when a customer (don’t worry Bill, we’re keeping you anonymous) called in to sheepishly ask how to send his stock back for ‘minor repairs’. It was in need of a new recoil pad and finish touch up after…well, er, being run over by a pick-up truck. Just so you know, we don’t recommend or condone this…uh…range proofing, but it was great to hear what could have been a total loss just needed touching up. After the “touch-up” he had this to say…
