Tom Easley’s Baconator
From the mail bag comes this report about Tom’s only remaining gun with a stock that is DDG-AA! – a 280 Remington:
“The stock is a classy Accurate Innovations AAA Claro Hunter. Out of about a dozen high grade A.I. stocks I’ve had, this is the only one that I managed to put back for myself. The barrel is floated, and no bedding was needed.
I still love to shoot iron sights, and this rifle outshoots me with them. I am good for < 1 moa in good light, and if it was scoped, the rifle itself is probably at least a 1/2 moa shooter. I’ve only used it on hogs so far, but it’s quick, reliable, and deadly with 160gr Nosler Accubonds. Instantly rehabs them.”
