From The Mailbag
“I went on an elephant hunt in April 1012 in Botswana and was fortunate enough to get a very nice bull elephant. My rifle was a .458 LOTT made by Montana Rifleman and mounted on one of your laminated stocks. Many people complain about the kick of the .458 LOTT but on your stock the recoil was minimal resulting in a one shot instant kill.
“The elephant was given to a local village that fed over 400 people.”

New Shooters
Take a friend shooting!
Most of you reading this have friends or family that are unfamiliar with the shooting sports. For many, the simple lack of opportunity keeps them from enjoying our safe and rewarding pastime, and we can change that one person at a time.
In today’s environment, the future of our sport and freedom will depend upon making shooters and gun owners of the current and next generation. We at Accurate Innovations are very committed to the future of firearms safety and freedom in America. Our staff spend many hours each year working with new shooters – inexperienced and unfamiliar youth and adults – introducing them to our great sport safely and with purpose.
Safety and logic are paramount, and much of the fear dissipates with the least bit of understanding. Jeff Cooper was famous for taking media out on his range when asked about controversial issues… he could show them much more efficiently than he could argue them into logic. Shooting is fun!
The National Shooting Sports Foundation has a dedicated program for introducing new shooters, called First Shots. Click here to learn about events in your area, or to read how to host your own.
Safety is between your ears!
